It feels like you are teleported to the Caribbean or Hawaii. This feels much more like Maui Hideaway than a simple lake house. The water has that aquamarine blue with deep blue depths way out. You can walk way out into the shallow water on the sandy bottom. At night, there are NO city sounds, just the sound of the surf and the crickets, with fabulous stargazing as there is no city light pollution.
Safe, lovely treelined roads to walk, run, or bike for miles and miles. Walk or bike just minutes to the winery (good idea!), Knot's Landing (great perch!), or the cute little town of Omena. Just 6 miles from Northport, and 6 miles from Suttons Bay, and 5 minutes to Leelanau Sands Casino! Get lucky and win your vacation for free!! 2. An adorable designer-decorated "Beach House"!

Months were spent transforming this into the funnest beach house in Michigan. This house represents the things we liked BEST about other places. It’s kind of a mix of California, the Bahamas, Australia, and Key West, with a little Michigan beach house thrown in.

It's upscale, but not so upscale that you'll feel uptight about taking full advantage of everthing. So that's it, upscale without the uptight!
3. The Perfect Combination of woods and beach.
Deep 70' Deep 220 foot long sandy beach with a beautiful treed yard, the house purched 12 feet above! This unusually wide beach allows plenty of room to play volleyball, tag football, and create memories to last a lifetime.

4. This house is set up for OUTSIDE living, with beautiful shade for evening meals on the deck, and two flagstone patios in the trees below and above. Magnificent sunrises and MOON RISES, right across the water directly in front!

No two are the same. Every night you can take a different, beautiful picture of the evening setting. And don't forget the perfect Bonfire on the Beach!

5. Deep sandy beach to kayak, board, snorkel, dive, fish, or swim!

One of the best places on Lake Michigan or the Bay to kayak, kite sail, and is absolutely perfect for runners, with beautiful wooded trails and roads. The fishing is world class, with salmon, walleye, and fly fishing that draws people from all the way around the world.

Although our info page has lots of info, you may find that the beach is such bliss that you'll want to spend all the time there and save everything else for next year!
6. Cleverly functional home feels spacious and comfortable, with a TOTALLY RIGHTEOUS KIDS BUNK ROOM, with a HUGE Hi-Definition TV with a WII and X-Box! This Bunk room MAKES the vacation, for both the kids AND the adults.

Blissy is very cleverly designed. Adults appreciate the fact that all the kids can be put to bed so they can party hardy all night! The Dining Room is rarely used because dinner outside is so much nicer.

We never want a week to go by without a delighted guest. We listen to EVERYTHING you say and want you to go tell all your friends that this was absolutely the best place you enjoyed on vacation, EVER!

8. Way Reasonable Rates

Ok, so Linda and I don’t exactly “love” the fact that we charge less than we should, but you will. This is our FIRST SUMMERl year of rental so we want to make sure we fill Bliss Bay with considerate, fun-loving guests for years to come. We really do charge way below what everybody, including the real estate experts, say we should.

1. BlissBay is perfect for four families to share. It's the perfect safe, private and lovely setting to let the kids do their thing all day, while the parents do theirs.

2. In a beautifully wooded setting, BlissBay is both woodsy and beachy, with a lovely winding entry to a fabulous designer beach home on a ten foot bluff that overlooks its deep flat sugar sand beach. The beach is like the beach you'd see at a luxury hotel, except all of the 320 FEET is ALL YOURS!

3. It has both an "On Golden Pond" feeling, along with a fun-in-the-sun beach feel. This is one of Traverse Bay's Finest Locations. It's quiet, safe, close to town but also has a secluded feeling, it really is like being on a Hawaiian Vacation, but in Michigan!

4. Deep, Wide, Sugar Sand Beach! The beach is feet wide, with two-thirds perfect sugar sand sixty feet deep. Outfitted with beach chairs, shady in the later afternoon, it’s true Maui-like splendor. 8. Miles of terrific beach and woods to walk, run, kayak, board, snorkel, dive, fish, or swim! One of the best bays on Lake Michigan to kayak, sail, kite sail, and swim. And the neighborhood is absolutely perfect for runners, with your choice of a softer gravel road, or a uncrowded paved road, both routes gorgeous! The fishing is world class, with salmon, walleye, bass, and a bunch of others.
